Toscano Pune Review: Is Amanora the Best Toscano Outlet?

Looking for an Honest Toscano Pune Review?

If you’re searching for an honest Toscano Pune review, here’s our experience. After an average visit to another Toscano outlet, we decided to give Toscano Amanora another chance during a shopping trip to Amanora Mall. What followed was one of our most memorable family lunches in Pune.

From thoughtful hospitality and standout Italian dishes to a mocktail we’d happily order again, this review covers everything that stood out during our visit. We’ll also share the one dish that disappointed us, how much we spent, and whether we think Toscano Amanora is worth visiting for families, couples, and Italian food lovers.

Some of Our Favourite Family Memories Aren’t Planned

Some of our favourite family memories aren’t planned. They happen on ordinary afternoons when we’re tired, hungry, and simply looking for a place to pause. This Toscano Pune review begins with one of those unexpected moments.

Our visit to Toscano Amanora began exactly like that. After spending hours shopping at Amanora Mall, all three of us were ready for a break. My husband had wanted to visit Toscano Amanora for a while. We’d previously dined at the Koregaon Park outlet, and while the experience was decent, it wasn’t memorable enough to bring us back.

So, when lunchtime arrived, we decided to give Toscano another chance. None of us expected it to become one of those restaurant experiences we’d still be talking about months later.

First Impressions at Toscano Amanora

One of the first things we noticed about Toscano Amanora was how spacious the restaurant felt. Compared to the Koregaon Park outlet, this location seemed larger, brighter, and more relaxed. Sunlight streamed through the windows, filling the dining room with warmth. Since it was a weekday afternoon, the restaurant wasn’t crowded, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere.

After a busy morning of shopping at Amanora Mall, it felt like the kind of place where you could sit back, take a deep breath, and slow down for a while.

And that’s exactly what we needed.

The Table for Three Moment

As parents, we’ve learned that a restaurant experience isn’t just about the food. Sometimes, it’s about whether your child feels comfortable enough for everyone to enjoy the meal.

Before we had even looked through the menu, the staff noticed our daughter and quietly brought over a toddler cushion so she could sit comfortably at the same height as our table. A few moments later, they returned with a colouring book and a box of crayons.

Her reaction was immediate. She stopped noticing everything else and started colouring.

For the next hour, she happily filled page after page with colours while enjoying her meal alongside us. It may sound like a small gesture, but for parents, it meant so much more. We weren’t rushing. We weren’t constantly trying to keep a toddler entertained. We were simply enjoying lunch together.

At the end of the meal, the staff carefully packed her drawings and handed them back to her like a little gift.

Months later, every time we walk into a restaurant, she asks the same question:

“Do they have colours?”

And every time she asks, we’re reminded of Toscano Amanora.

What We Ordered at Toscano Amanora

When we asked for recommendations, the manager took the time to guide us through the menu. Instead of simply suggesting the most popular dishes, he explained the flavours and helped us choose a meal that suited our preferences. Looking back, almost every recommendation turned out to be a great choice.

Here’s everything we ordered during our visit to Toscano Amanora.

Basil Orange Mocktail

If there’s one item we’d happily return to Toscano Amanora for, it’s the Basil Orange Mocktail. Refreshing, balanced, and genuinely memorable, it quickly became the favourite drink at our table. In fact, my husband enjoyed it so much that he ordered a second glass before our meal was over.

What made it even more special was the memory it brought back. For anyone who has spent time in Tapovan, Rishikesh, the flavour profile felt surprisingly familiar. Many cafés in the area serve a refreshing drink called Lemonana, known for its bright citrus notes and fresh herbs. While Toscano’s Basil Orange Mocktail isn’t the same drink, it carries a similar refreshing character and instantly transported us back to those slow afternoons in the mountains.

If you’ve travelled through Tapovan and found yourself missing Lemonana, this is probably the closest feeling we’ve experienced in Pune.

Strawberry Colada

The Strawberry Colada was equally enjoyable. Light, refreshing, and not overly sweet, it complemented the rest of the meal beautifully.

It wasn’t trying to steal the spotlight, but it was the kind of drink we’d happily order again on a warm afternoon.

Hummus Pesto Chicken

The Hummus Pesto Chicken was easily one of the standout dishes of our meal. Fresh, flavourful, and beautifully balanced, every element on the plate worked together without overpowering the others. The creamy hummus paired beautifully with the pesto, creating a dish that felt both comforting and surprisingly light.

If you’re wondering what to order at Toscano Amanora, this would be one of our top recommendations.

Chicken Scaloppini

Comforting, satisfying, and full of flavour, the Chicken Scaloppini delivered exactly what we hoped it would. The chicken was well cooked, the flavours were balanced, and every bite felt thoughtfully prepared.

It paired beautifully with the rest of our meal and reinforced the feeling that our experience at Toscano Amanora was very different from our previous visit to another Toscano outlet.

Alphonso Mango Ricotta

Desserts often become an afterthought after a filling meal. This wasn’t one of them.

The Alphonso Mango Ricotta stood out for its presentation, creativity, and flavour. It felt thoughtfully crafted without trying too hard, and the sweetness was beautifully balanced rather than overwhelming. It was the perfect ending to our meal and one of those desserts that stays with you long after you’ve left the restaurant.

Chicken Lasagna: The One Dish We’d Skip

Not every dish was a winner. The Chicken Lasagna was the one item that didn’t meet our expectations. The issue wasn’t that it was mild or tomato-forward. Authentic lasagna often is. What stood out was that it didn’t feel as fresh as the rest of the meal. Compared to the Hummus Pesto Chicken and Chicken Scaloppini, the chicken felt overly soft and lacked the texture we expected.

What happened next, however, left a bigger impression than the dish itself. A member of the staff noticed my reaction before I said anything and walked over to ask if something wasn’t right. When I shared my feedback, nobody became defensive. Instead, they listened.

The feedback was taken seriously enough that the chef personally came to our table to understand what hadn’t worked for us. The conversation wasn’t about proving us wrong. It was about understanding the guest experience.

Eventually, the lasagna was removed from our bill, not because we asked for it, but because they genuinely felt the dish hadn’t met their own standards. In a world where feedback is often ignored, that level of attentiveness felt refreshing.

Hospitality That Made the Difference

Good food creates memories. Good hospitality creates loyalty.

What stood out most about Toscano Amanora wasn’t just the quality of the food or the drinks. It was the way the team paid attention. They noticed a toddler who needed entertainment, and they noticed a guest who wasn’t fully enjoying a dish. Instead of ignoring either moment, they listened, responded, and made all three of us feel genuinely welcome.

Looking back, that’s what stayed with us long after the meal was over. Great restaurants aren’t remembered only for what they serve. They’re remembered for how they make people feel.

Price at Toscano Amanora

Our meal for three, including two mocktails, a starter, two main courses, and a dessert, came to around ₹4,500. While Toscano sits in the premium casual dining category, we felt the overall experience justified the price. The food was thoughtfully prepared, the service was genuinely attentive, and the atmosphere made us want to stay a little longer. If you’re planning a special family lunch, a relaxed date, or simply craving good Italian food, we think Toscano Amanora offers good value for the experience it delivers.

TABLE FOR THREE MOMENT

Watching our daughter happily colour away while the restaurant thoughtfully gave her crayons, colouring sheets, and even packed her artwork for us to take home. She still asks restaurants today, “Do they have colours?”

WHAT WE TOOK HOME

Great hospitality isn't just about fixing mistakes; it's about noticing them before guests have to say anything. The chef personally checking on our lasagna and removing it from the bill showed genuine care.

WOULD WE RETURN?

Absolutely. Not just for the food, but because Toscano made us feel genuinely looked after from the moment we sat down until we left.

Three hearts. One table. Countless stories.
